First Fly larvae, now ants in my compost? Help me kill them?

I started a compost bin about 3 months ago. I've done a fairly good job about keeping it moist, turned, and not smelling. One day as i was turning it, i spotted around 20-30 fly larvae. I searched yahoo answers and decided to dry out my compost heap to kill the Larvae. Well as it turns out as it got drier, a group of fire ants invaded it. The ants are hunting down the larvae (i watched for about an hour). How should i get rid of the ants. Hot water, compost accelerator, or ect.?
