Can I wear a dressy maxi dress to a wake (friend's mom) or should i stick to a dress casual knee length dress

I think it would be fine, but dress to where you..yourself feel comfortable. I personally would where the knee length dress because this is a sad moment in everyones life and everyone is basically looking for comfort, plain, and casual. Its up to you though.
