Does winning the lottery change your life in a good or bad way?

It sems most people in the world feel if they win the lottery, their lives will be changed forever. I think for the most part, it brings misfortune and misery. Of course for the few who can hide their winnings from the general populace and their immediate family may have a chance, for the most part greed and avarice may do the winner in. Basically, any large sum of money that finds itself into our lives needs to be managed well. I just hope that people who win tons of money, do things to help others around them.
