His friends are in the way!?

Okay, theres this guy in grade 9, im in grade 8. I was admiring from afar, im fine with that. i thought id had my chance to get to know him but then my (ex) friend found out i liked him and hacked my facebook and then added him, took my phone and started texting him that i liked him. well he told his friends and showed the awful and embaring tets she sent about me and now his friends make fun of me and him ALL the time. but i dont get it because when they make fun of me he always hits them or smacks them telling them to stop. but then when one of his friends called me his "muncher" he laughed.. tonight his friends came by my house and they started teting me saying a was a *****. i texted him asking him if he was with them, he said yes. i asked him to tell them to stop. he said okay and they stopped. we also texted a couple of times for nothing. like my friends brother texted him from my phone and he kept asking who "andrew" was like he was jealous.. What is this? is he interested at all? are his friends just in the way?
