HIV from a blood test?

The infected blood would have to get under your skin. Just because she touched your arm with her non-gloved hand does not mean she gave you HIV and the antiseptic that was just applied would still be in effect. It would still kill the germs that get on your arm. So you're not going to get an infection just because she touched you. HIV is a major risk factor from donated blood or for surgeons. Or if you're the lab tech and you prick yourself on a needle that was just used to draw on an HIV + patient. You should be fine, but ask for an HIV test if it helps calm your nerves.
